College information: A collection of information on various universities and colleges around the country is maintained in the Guidance office.
Conferences: Counselors are available four days a week for conferences after school. Parents are encouraged to contact the guidance office for an appointment if they have any concerns regarding their student.
Credit Checks and 4-Year Plans: Each student has a 4-Year Plan that was created with the assistance on a guidance counselor. This plan is used to help keep students on track as they move towards graduation. Information on graduation requirements can also be found here.
Counseling Requests: Counselors are available to see students who are having problems academically. Students may be referred to the guidance counselor for the teacher, parents, or may be self-referred.
Counseling Topics: See your counselor if you need help with time management, stress management, study skills, or college planning.
Please Note: Beginning December 10, 2012, Gateway High School will be charging all Former students a $2 fee per transcript requested. If you have any questions please call the school at 407-935-3600.
